Refunds & cancellations

These terms apply to paid Insightfuldata tuition — the Divergence Detection Masterclass, One-to-One Chart Clinics, Oscillator Lab Sessions, and related follow-up clinics. They do not cover products we do not sell (for example physical goods shipping or software subscriptions).

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel, whether a deposit or full fee was paid, and how much of the engagement has already been delivered. Australian Consumer Law rights that cannot be excluded remain available.

Timeframe to request

Contact info@insightfuldata.digital or (02) 6628 6284 as soon as you need to cancel or reschedule. Include your name, lesson type, and confirmed dates. We acknowledge refund requests within three business days.

Full refunds

A full refund of amounts paid is available when:

• We cancel a lesson or cohort and cannot offer a suitable alternative date within a reasonable period
• You cancel a clinic or lab at least seven clear days before the scheduled start
• You cancel a masterclass before the first session and at least fourteen clear days before that first session

Partial refunds

If you withdraw from a masterclass after it has started, we refund fees for undelivered sessions minus an administrative amount of AUD 80, provided you give written notice before the next scheduled session. Sessions already delivered are non-refundable.

Non-refundable items

• Deposits after the cool-off rules above no longer apply, except where we cancel or Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise
• Prepared printed chart packs once production has begun for an in-person Glengarrie sitting
• Completed clinics or lab places after the session has finished

Deposits

Masterclass deposits (typically 30%) secure your place. Deposits are credited toward the total fee. If you cancel inside the full-refund window, the deposit is returned with the balance of amounts paid. Outside that window, the deposit is retained unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Rescheduling

Clinics may be rescheduled once without charge if you give at least forty-eight hours’ notice. Later notice or a second reschedule may attract a AUD 40 administration fee. Labs and group masterclass seats can be moved only if another place exists in a later cohort; otherwise cancellation rules apply.

No-shows

If you miss a scheduled clinic or lab without notice, the session fee is forfeited. For masterclasses, a missed session is generally forfeited; we may offer a single make-up at our discretion when notice was impossible due to documented emergency.

Work already started

Once a private masterclass session has been delivered, that session’s proportionate fee is earned. Custom worksheet preparation begun after a deposit for an in-person sitting may reduce a partial refund by documented preparation cost, capped at AUD 60 unless otherwise stated in your placement note.

Refund method & processing time

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten business days of approval. Bank processing times may add several days beyond our transfer.

Exceptions

If a placement note states different cancellation terms for a custom workplace cohort, that note prevails for that engagement to the extent permitted by law.
